Problem

I have added the MapIt gadget to my dashboard, but I can't see any issues in it.

Solution

In order for issues to show in the MapIt gadget, they need to contain location information (latitude and longitude position). In addition, they need to be included in a favorite filter. 

Please check the following:
  1. Open a JIRA issue that you expected to see in MapIt. Does the screen contain fields to enter location information (latitude and longitude)?
    If not, please contact your JIRA administrator.
  2. Does the latitude and longitude fields contain data, and is that data in the correct format?
  3. Is the issue part of the filter result for one of your favorite filters?
    If not, please create a new favorite filter, or edit the criteria of an existing favorite filter, so that the issue is included in the search result.  
  4. Have you selected the correct filter in the MapIt drop-down?
    Issues are only loaded in the map when you actively select the desired favorite filter from the MapIt drop-down.
