Search engines

There are several search engines available in Mapit that decode addresses depending on the position.

Ask your JIRA Administrator to enable a search engine that suits you. Available options are:

OpenStreetMap (Default)
- OpenStreetMap is an open and community-driven geodata service.
- https://www.openstreetmap.org
GeocodeXyz
- Geocode.xyz is an Affordable, Accurate Worldwide geocoding and geoparsing API with no usage restrictions. Access is free up to 1 API call per sec. Find out more.

Geonorge
- Geonorge is the national website for map data and other georeferenced information in Norway.
- https://www.geonorge.no
GeogratisCanada
- Natural Resources Canada seeks to enhance the responsible development and use of Canada's natural resources and the competitiveness of Canada's natural resources products.
