Search engines

There are several search engines available in Mapit that decode addresses depending on the position.

Ask your JIRA Administrator to enable a search engine that suits you. Available options are:

• OpenStreetMap (Default)
  • OpenStreetMap is an open and community-driven geodata service.

  • Geocode.xyz is an Affordable, Accurate Worldwide geocoding and geoparsing API with no usage restrictions. Access is free up to 1 API call per sec. Find out more.

  • Geonorge is the national website for map data and other georeferenced information in Norway.
