Mapit allows integration with Insight - Asset management plugin by Riada. 

This means that you can view geotagged Insight objects in Mapit .


Jira Administrator has to enable and set up the integration in Mapit configuration and in Insight before you can use these functions.

You also need have appropriate user permissions in Insight to create and view objects in Mapit.


Display Insight objects on the map

In the Mapit menu in the Insight section - select the checkbox for the desired Insight Schema .


Objects with geographical information will be displayed on the map. Clicking on the selected object results in opening a popup window that contains a link to this object.


Using Quick Search

If your JIRA Administrator has enabled the option  "Enable Insight Quick Search (saved filters) in the menu" in Mapit for Jira General Configuration, filters saved in Insight will be displayed in the Mapit menu for the appropriate Scheme just after the the object types (with prefix Quick Search).

Clusters


Insight objects in the map will cluster, like Jira Issues.

Clusters are a way of grouping together issues that are in close proximity, and that would otherwise appear on top of each other when zoomed out. Clicking on a cluster zooms you in to a level where you can see the issues individually.
